The Premier League title race is almost certain to head for Stamford Bridge with less than ten-games to go. Chelsea led the pack with six-points and a game in hand separating them from second place Manchester City.
The race for Champions league place is likely to run down till the end of the season, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all chasing Champions league football.
In Spite of these, the race for the golden shoe is very much on, with England’s very own Harry Kane leading the charge as joint top goal scorer alongside Chelsea’s hitman Diego Costa having 19 goals apiece. Harry Kane, 21 has stormed the Premier league by surprise contributing immensely to Tottenham rise on the table. Chelsea’s Diego Costa has fulfilled his heavy price tag and has justified Jose Mourinho’s claim of lack of a true striker from last season. The Spaniard has bullied the BPL with 19 goal all coming from open play unlike his compatriots who have had lifelines from the penalty spot.
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero lies in third position with 17 goals. The Argentine has struggled all through the campaign with hamstring injuries. His absence has partially cost Man City their title pursuit and could end up finishing runner up to the Londoners.
Arsenals Alexis Sanchez and QPR Charlie Austin are far contenders but with those two players likely to keep up with the pace of the front runners, the golden shoe is most certain to end up in either side of London.
With just few goals separating this lads, who do you think would be crowned as the League’s top scorer?
