Saturday’s London Derby

Two of English’s dominant forces in football will face each other in Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff at Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho’s misfiring Chelsea team, who secured their first emphatic win of the season in the Champions League with a 4-0 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv, will host Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal, who will look to bounce back from a disappointing European outing against Dinamo Zagreb.

Chelsea who are currently in 17th position and with 4 points are yet to record a victory at Stamford bridge this season. The blues have conceded 4 goals and scored just 3 goals at the bridge. Arsenal are in 4th position and have 10 points.

Chelsea will be without Spanish winger Pedro and could also be missing their Brazilian duo of Willian and Oscar, though Radamel Falcao could return from his minor injury against the Gunners. The only expected absentee for the gunners are Jack Wilshare and Danny Welbeck.

A Victory for Jose Mourinho’s team could rescues their season, but Wenger will definitely have a game plan to add more misery to a weaken Chelsea team. Though, it is expected for the blues to start the game like a house on fire.

Arsenal haven’t won a game at Stamford bridge since Robin Van Persie’s hat-trick in 2011.
