Hope you had a swell weekend, mine was awesome as usual, enjoyed watching the games and I’m here to give you a review of the action that went down over the weekend in case you missed it.

The weekend started off with Manchester united travelling off to Norwich to get a crucial win needed for them to fight for the top 4 spot. A goal for mata what all that mattered to give the visitors 3 points in the bag.

Relegation battlers, Sunderland put up a splendid display to make a comeback from a 1-2 loss at halftime to become eventually 3-2 winners over Chelsea. Goals from Diego Costa and Matic were not enough to give the visitors the needed win as Jerman Defoe scored the winning goal to continue his fine scoring form and give the Black cats hope to be in the next season.

West Ham were stunned by a shocking defeat at home by in form Swansea who won the game 1-4. The loss by West Ham dampens their chances of making the top 4. Goals from Routledge, Ayew, Ki and Gomis gave the visitors a staggering win to revive the quiet season.

Champions, Leceister city were finally crowned in style after a 3-1 defeat of Everton.Jamie Vardy took his tally to 24 goals with 2 on target strikes and King scoring the other. Mirallas got on the end of the other side, with his goal not enough to stop the rampaging champions to be crowned Kings of England in style.

Tottenham was humbled to a 1-2 defeat at home by Southampton courtesy of 2 goals by Steven Davies. A goal from Son was not enough to give Spurs the sealed runners up position.

Our star match of the weekend happened to be a very lively match as expected with so much quality in the game producing 4 lovely goals altogether from Aguero who first struck in the 8th minute then a reply from Giroud with a header to end the first half 1-1.The second half resumed again with City taking the lead again just 7 minutes into the second half with a lovely finish from Kevin de bruyne who had a solo performance to his goal. Alexis Sanchez scored his 13th goal of the season after a lovely flick assist given to him by Giroud to draw the match 2-2.City will be hoping Manchester united don’t win their next match as it would imply they get displaced from the top 4. Mancini was greeted with an ovation for his last match in charge of city at the Etihad stadium

Guardiola won his 3rd straight Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich as they were officially crowned Champions of Germany after Dortmund’s loss 0-1 loss to Frankfurt.

Athletico Madrid dropped out of the La Liga title race after a 2-1 loss to Levante. League leaders made a 5-0 win over rivals, Espanyol to move an inch closer to the title. Goals from Messi, Suarez , Neymar(MSN) and Rafinha gave Barca the much needed win with Suarez cementing his spot as La liga’s top scorer of the season. Christiano Ronaldo also led his side to a 3-2 win over Valencia scoring 2 goals for his team and also scoring his 200th goal in the Bernabeau.
